About the Artist

Tyreek Morrison’s collage practice builds layered narratives from scraps of paper and found materials, using fragmentation as both medium and metaphor. His works move between past and present, pulling earlier histories into contemporary scenes to reveal the continuity of struggle, joy, and cultural memory. Influenced by fashion, music, and the visual language of Atlanta, Morrison reconstructs images that feel rhythmic and lived-in, weaving personal experience with collective story. Through these collages, he bridges generational gaps and reframes the fragments society leaves behind, transforming them into images that speak with clarity, resilience, and depth.
